Why ASYNC?

In a world where almost everything can be scheduled and communication has become easier than ever, the way we work is changing too. More freelancers and small business owners are realizing the value of asynchronous communication, especially when time control matters.
As a solopreneur and part-time business owner, it has always been important for me to work with clients who respect the balance between work and family life. As a mother of a young child, corporate hours and long workdays were simply not realistic for me. Living in a remote village also meant that I needed a work style that would allow me to build a career without having to leave the life I want to live.
I always hoped to connect with business owners from all over the world while still staying in my own country and home. That is one of the reasons I chose this path. I wanted freedom, flexibility, and the chance to try something new.
As a law graduate, I once got asked in an interview why I was doing a job that paid less than what a lawyer could earn. The honest answer was simple: I valued the hourly rate, the freedom, and the opportunity to take a risk on something different. My law degree will always be there if I decide to return to it, but for now, I chose to follow a path that gives me both independence and fulfillment.
Working with small business owners has many benefits, but the connection is not for everyone. I always make it clear that I have a family, that I love what I do, and that I prefer async-friendly communication. What I value most is a long-term relationship built on trust, respect, and a real connection between client and assistant.
That kind of collaboration feels personal in the best way. It is like buying flowers from the grandmother selling them on the street. You know they are special, made with care, and there is a sense of gratitude that comes with it. Working with a virtual assistant can feel the same way. Clients do not just get support. They get time back, a real relationship, and the satisfaction of supporting a small business.
For many business owners, this kind of partnership is even more valuable than a traditional working arrangement. It creates space for better communication, stronger trust, and a more human way of doing business.
